Cultural knowledge
If you have completed the three initial levels of Icelandic, or have equivalent knowledge, you can continue your training with the B1.2 level course.
In the fourth level of Icelandic at the Institut Nòrdic, your ability to handle communicative situations independently will increase. You will also notice that your sense of fluency has improved considerably. During the B1.2 course, the use of Icelandic in class progressively increases, and the support language takes on a secondary role. Upon completion of the course, you will achieve level B1.2.
Institut Nòrdic’s courses address all the skills required for complete learning: oral and written expression and comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar. Along with continuous assessment, the course offers a continuous learning process.
Online classes are held in real time, with interaction with the teacher and other classmates, and you can participate from anywhere in the world. The environment includes all the essential elements for learning.
